ELT Área Educativa

ELT Área Educativa is an innovative English Language Teaching program designed to develop students’ communicative competence while fostering their personal, social, and civic growth. Aligned with the principles of the Mexican New School Model (Nueva Escuela Mexicana) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the series promotes English as a tool for understanding the world, engaging with diverse communities, and contributing to positive social change.
 

The program integrates language learning with meaningful topics such as violence prevention, peacebuilding, gender equality, responsible citizenship, intercultural awareness, inclusion, and sustainability. Through project-based learning, real-world case studies, collaborative activities, and community-oriented challenges, students strengthen their English skills while developing critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

Each unit connects language acquisition to contemporary issues and everyday experiences, encouraging learners to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts peacefully, respect diversity, and participate actively in their communities. By linking English learning to local and global challenges, ELT Área Educativa helps students become confident communicators and responsible global citizens.
